Responsible citizens are we??
calling them as achievements in life,
and losing sight of mighty tasks, with eyes closed,
1 leaving things to god and driving him away to get locked in temples and caves, safely undisturbed, to sleep as if he is a sick patient and
welcoming them with poorna kumbham in to our life
as if they are our holiest saviors
we now take pleasure in competing in complaining to these old gods and new gods who never did help nor serve the country , excepting filling their own pockets
Having done our ”minimum” duty we expect miracles to happen
and gape in wonder, when things are moving from bad to worse, as if it is a divine drama unfolding,
If conscience pricks , by chance, we say
koyee sunthaa nahee khuda ke siva
kuch kiyaa bhee nahee vaphaa ke siva
muzko milaa bhee kyaa sajaa ke siva
where is the time for taking all these headache issues like powercut or power of black money
we have our own burdens to take care of ….
” conscience is a coward”..some one said
and we so are cowards , remain cowards only to
turn to east pray to god in the hope that kishan will come, since we read somewhere that he said he will come and save, so we relapse into inaction easily convincing ourseves ‘’why not wait patiently?’’ –and we wait till death
